Indianapolis' Trusted Commercial Plumber
Plumbing for Offices, Retail & Multi-Unit Properties
Indiana Flow brings the same transparency, quality, and licensed craftsmanship to commercial accounts that our residential customers rely on every day.
When a pipe fails in a commercial space, the cost isn't just the repair — it's lost business hours, unhappy tenants, and potential code violations. Indiana Flow understands that. We are a family-owned company with Ahmad and Omar Saltagi leading every project, and we treat every commercial job with the same ownership mindset a business owner brings to their own property.
We serve small offices, restaurants, retail suites, multi-unit rentals, and light commercial facilities across Indianapolis, Carmel, Fishers, Westfield, Noblesville, and Zionsville.
Every commercial project we touch is performed under Indiana plumbing license PC12000053 — a requirement for any permitted commercial plumbing work in the state. We pull permits, pass inspections, and document everything so property managers and business owners have a clean paper trail.

What We Do
Scheduled & Preventive Maintenance
From commercial water heaters to full kitchen plumbing rough-ins, Indiana Flow covers the scope most small-to-mid commercial properties need.
Commercial Water Heater Installation
High-capacity Bradford White tank and tankless commercial water heaters sized to your facility's real demand. See our dedicated water heater page for residential options.
Multi-Unit Bathroom Plumbing
Full rough-in and finish plumbing for offices, small apartment buildings, and commercial suites — including commercial-grade fixtures, supply lines, and drain systems.
Commercial Kitchen Plumbing
Sink installation, dishwasher hookup, grease trap connections, and the drain lines that tie it all together. We coordinate with other trades when hood or interceptor work falls outside plumbing scope.
Commercial Drain & Sewer Service
High-capacity floor drains, commercial sewer line repair, and drain clearing for facilities with heavy use. See our sewer lines page for full detail.
Water Line Installation & Repair
Service water line work for commercial properties, including line sizing for higher demand and repair of leaks or aging supply infrastructure.
Gas Line Installation
Licensed gas line rough-in and connections for commercial equipment including ranges, commercial water heaters, and HVAC units (plumbing side). Full detail on our gas piping page.
Commercial Fixture Installation & Repair
Commercial-grade faucets, toilets, urinals, and hand-washing stations installed to code. We stock ADA-compliant fixtures and can source commercial brands on request.
Backflow Preventer Referral
Indiana Flow can assess your backflow prevention needs and refer you to licensed backflow specialists for testing and certification required by Indianapolis Water.
Our Commercial Clients
Who We Serve
Indiana Flow is built for small-to-mid commercial projects where responsiveness and honesty matter as much as technical skill.
Office Buildings & Professional Suites
From single-tenant offices to multi-suite professional buildings, we handle bathroom plumbing, break room hookups, water heaters, and anything that keeps the water running and the business moving.
Restaurants & Food Service
Commercial kitchen plumbing is one of the more demanding categories in the trade. Indiana Flow installs and services the sinks, hookups, and drain lines that health codes require — and we schedule around your operation to minimize downtime.
Retail & Light Commercial Spaces
Retail buildouts, salon suites, fitness studios, and similar spaces all need plumbing rough-in and finish work done to commercial code. We handle these projects from permit to final walkthrough.
Small Apartment Buildings & Multi-Unit Rentals
Two to eight-unit buildings benefit from a plumber who understands both the scale of commercial work and the timeline pressure landlords face. We minimize vacancy disruption and keep tenants informed.
Property Management Companies
Property managers across Indianapolis and Hamilton County call Indiana Flow for tenant turns, fixture replacements, water heater swaps, and drain issues across their portfolios. We respond quickly and document every job.
New Commercial Construction Rough-In
We partner with general contractors on new commercial construction for plumbing rough-in and finish work. If a project requires a larger commercial plumbing firm, we will say so upfront — Indiana Flow does not overpromise scope.
Indiana Flow focuses on small-to-mid commercial work. For large-scale industrial projects or high-rise plumbing, we are happy to refer you to specialty commercial contractors who are built for that scale.

Commercial Water Heaters
High-Capacity Hot Water for Commercial Properties
A residential 50-gallon water heater will not keep up with a 10-unit apartment building or a restaurant kitchen that runs a commercial dishwasher all day. Commercial water heaters differ from residential units in three critical ways: higher BTU input for faster recovery, larger storage capacity to meet peak demand, and a commercial warranty that reflects continuous-duty use.
Indiana Flow installs Bradford White commercial tank water heaters ranging from 75 to 100+ gallons, as well as commercial tankless units for facilities that need continuous hot water without a storage tank. Tankless commercial systems are particularly well-suited to restaurants and facilities where demand spikes are hard to predict.
Every commercial water heater installation includes proper sizing to actual load, code-compliant venting, temperature and pressure relief protection, and all required permits. We carry the PC12000053 license required for permitted commercial water heater work in Indianapolis.

FAQ
Commercial Plumbing Questions
Do you work on commercial properties?
Yes. Indiana Flow is a licensed Indiana plumber (PC12000053) and we regularly take on small-to-mid commercial projects including office buildings, retail spaces, restaurants, and multi-unit rental properties in Indianapolis and throughout Hamilton County.
How is commercial plumbing different from residential?
Commercial plumbing operates at a larger scale and under stricter code requirements. Pipe sizing, fixture counts, water heater capacity, backflow prevention, and venting all follow commercial codes rather than residential standards. Permitted commercial work must be performed by a licensed plumber — Indiana Flow carries the required PC12000053 license.
Can you handle a restaurant kitchen plumbing job?
Absolutely. We install and service commercial kitchen sinks, dishwasher hookups, grease trap connections, and the associated drain lines. If your project also involves hood suppression or grease interceptor sizing above the plumbing rough-in, we will coordinate with the appropriate specialty trades and be clear about scope from the start.
Do you install commercial water heaters?
Yes. Commercial water heater installation is one of our most common commercial services. We install Bradford White high-capacity tank and tankless commercial units sized to the actual hot water demand of your facility. We handle all associated venting and bring the installation up to current code.
Do you offer commercial service agreements?
At this time we do not offer formal maintenance contracts, but commercial clients are welcome to call us for any scheduled or as-needed plumbing service. We prioritize existing customers and aim to minimize disruption to your business operations.
Indiana Flow serves commercial clients in Indianapolis, Carmel, Fishers, Westfield, Noblesville, Zionsville, and McCordsville. Not sure if we cover your location? Check the full service area or call 317-IND-FLOW.
