What We Do

Why Indianapolis Homeowners Choose Indiana Flow

From routine repairs to full installations, Indiana Flow handles it all for Indianapolis homeowners.

Water Heater Installation & Replacement

We install traditional tank and tankless water heaters using trusted brands like Rheem and Bradford White. Whether your current unit is failing or you want to upgrade for energy savings, we'll get you hot water back fast — often the same day.

Water Softeners

Indianapolis has hard water — it leaves scale on fixtures and wears out appliances prematurely. We install whole-home water softeners from Rheem and Watco that protect your plumbing system and improve your water quality right away.

Unique to Indiana Flow

Shower Glazing & Refinishing

Shower glazing is one of our most popular and distinctive services. Instead of replacing a worn or stained shower surround for $5,000 or more, our trained technician Omar refinishes it for $1,500–$2,000 — restoring it to like-new condition in a fraction of the time.

Drain & Sewer Repair

Slow drains, clogs, and sewer line issues are common in Indianapolis's older neighborhoods. We diagnose and clear drain blockages throughout the home, and we can inspect sewer lines in properties where root intrusion or aging pipes are a concern.

Water Filtration Systems

For Indianapolis homeowners who want cleaner, better-tasting water, we install whole-home filtration and under-sink reverse osmosis systems. These pair well with a water softener for complete water quality management.

Gas Piping

We run and repair gas lines for appliances, outdoor grills, and fireplace connections in Indianapolis homes. All gas piping work is performed by our licensed technicians and tested for safety before we leave the job site.

Faucet Installation & Repair

From a leaky kitchen faucet in Woodruff Place to a full bathroom fixture upgrade in Broad Ripple, we install and repair faucets throughout the home. We recommend Delta for durability and warranty coverage.

Residential Plumbing

Beyond specialized services, Indiana Flow handles the full range of residential plumbing needs — toilet repairs, supply line replacements, shut-off valve upgrades, and more. If it's in your home's plumbing system, we can help.

Our Community

Why We Love Working in Indianapolis, Indiana

Indianapolis is not a city you'd describe with one word. It's a place of neighborhoods — each with its own personality, its own housing stock, and honestly, its own plumbing quirks. That variety is part of what makes our work interesting every single day.

When we pull up to a 1920s Craftsman bungalow in Irvington, we know what we're walking into: galvanized supply lines that may have seen better decades, cast iron drain pipes that need careful handling, and character that deserves respect. The historic homes in Meridian-Kessler and along the tree-lined streets of Butler-Tarkington are much the same — beautiful homes that need a plumber who understands older construction.

Over in Fountain Square, the renovated bungalows are gorgeous, but the mix of old and new systems means we see everything from original cast iron to relatively recent PEX installs — sometimes in the same house. The Near Northside and Woodruff Placehave similar layers. Woodruff Place in particular is one of Indianapolis's most unique neighborhoods, and the homes there require the kind of thoughtful approach we pride ourselves on.

Then there's Broad Ripple Village — the kind of neighborhood where you can walk to the Monon Trail after we finish a water heater install and grab coffee before heading home. The homes here range from 1940s ranches to newer infill builds, and our customers there appreciate that we show up prepared for either.

We work near White River State Park, Lucas Oil Stadium, and the surrounding neighborhoods south of downtown, including Bates-Hendricks — another area of Indianapolis undergoing real reinvestment, where homeowners are doing real renovations and need plumbers who show up on time and do quality work.

Indianapolis gave Indiana Flow its start, and we take that seriously. We're here because we want to build something in this city long-term — not just collect jobs and move on. Every homeowner we serve becomes part of a relationship we genuinely want to keep.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions — Plumbing in Indianapolis

Do you serve all of Indianapolis, or just certain neighborhoods?

We serve Indianapolis broadly — from Broad Ripple and Meridian-Kessler on the north side to Fountain Square and Bates-Hendricks on the south side, and areas in between including the Near Northside, Irvington, Woodruff Place, and the Butler University area. If you're inside the Indianapolis city limits, there's a very good chance we cover you. Contact us if you're unsure.

My Indianapolis home is older — do you work on older plumbing systems?

Yes, and it's something we're well-prepared for. Many Indianapolis neighborhoods — Irvington, Meridian-Kessler, Fountain Square, Woodruff Place — are full of homes built between the 1900s and 1960s. We regularly work with galvanized steel supply lines, cast iron drain systems, and older fixture configurations. We'll tell you honestly what needs to be done and what can wait.

How does your online quoting system work?

Our instant quote tool lets you select your service and see Good/Better/Best pricing options immediately — no waiting on a callback. You can review your options, choose what fits your budget and goals, and book directly. We built it because we believe Indianapolis homeowners shouldn't have to play phone tag just to find out what a water heater replacement costs.

Does Indianapolis have hard water, and should I be concerned?

Yes — Indianapolis water is moderately hard, which means dissolved calcium and magnesium that builds up over time in pipes, water heaters, and appliances. Hard water reduces the efficiency and lifespan of your water heater, leaves scale on fixtures, and can make your skin and hair feel dry. A whole-home water softener is one of the most cost-effective investments you can make for an Indianapolis home.

What financing options do you offer for larger plumbing projects in Indianapolis?

We offer two flexible financing options for Indianapolis homeowners. Through Wisetack, you can finance with 0% interest over 6, 9, or 12 months. We also offer Klarna, which splits your payment into 4 equal installments at 0% interest. Both options are available at checkout with no hard credit pull to get started.
